Turkey 2023
In August 2023, we travelled to Turkey to work in Istanbul, Gaziantep and the earthquake affected Hatay region.
Over our 10 days in the country, we worked with some incredible organisations working in humanitarian and disaster relief in the region; such as Kids Paradise, INARA, SGDD-ASAM and many more.
We performed 15 shows to over 1000 children in refugee settlements, community centres, schools and orphanages!
Through our colour wordless music-theatre show entitled ‘The Boy and The Bird’ and our energetic workshops, we saw a transformation in the children we worked with, and we could see that they were in dire need of help to be reconnected to the crucial elements of childhood, through storytelling, music, and play.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who made a donation towards our project! Thanks to your support, we managed to reach over 1000 children living in incredibly difficult circumstances. Through our work, we brought them smiles and laughter, helped them express and process their emotions in a healthy way, created a sense a togetherness, and showed them the magic and healing effect of live music and theatre.
